Before joining as Executive Director in July 2023, he has volunteered with Sewa International for more than two years.  Began his working life as an Engineer in steel industry with SAIL, before switching to rural and community development with a desire to help Bharat prosper. His last full-time task was as the CEO, NMDC CSR Foundation. In between, over the past 25 years, he has worked with grassroots not-for-profits in the Thar desert in Rajasthan and tribal areas of Telangana and Chattisgarh, with UNDP in the pioneering rural tourism program across our country, facilitated learning of development administration for students at DMI, Patna, and conducted research resulting in published case studies on social enterprises, self-governing CBOs, and community-based tourism. His professional interests are in promoting people’s institutions and rural livelihoods, making modern management tools work for improving the effectiveness of like-minded civil society organisations, and organizational development. Hobbies include reading and traveling to understand cultures. He has studied engineering and science (BITS, Pilani) and rural management (IRMA, Anand). He also serves on the National Tourism Advisory Council of Govt of India.

Harshit Kumar is a native of Bihar. His academic credentials include a bachelor's degree from the University of Delhi and two master's degrees, one in journalism from Gurujambheshwar University and the other in Hindi literature from Jamia Millia Islamia. His interest in academia led him to pursue an M.Phil at the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), where he topped the all-India entrance examination. He has 5+ years of experience in the Social Sector.

Pawan Kumar is a native of New Delhi. He graduated from Motilal Nehru College, University of Delhi, with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He later went on to complete his Master of Business Administration at Sikkim Manipal University. He has over 16 years of experience in the Inventory department at companies such as Lifestyle International, 3D Logic Pvt. Ltd, and Future Lifestyle Fashions Limited. As a Manager at Sewa International, he is currently in charge of inventory and logistics.

Shri Vijay Thakur comes from Madhubani, Bihar. His interest in computers led him to pursue a master's degree in computer applications from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). He previously managed the Information Technology department at AES Laboratory PVT LTD. He is currently working with Sewa International as Manager of Information Technology where he coordinates, plans, and leads computer-related activities in the organization.

Shri Shubham Sharma is from Jaipur, Rajasthan. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a dual master's degree in social work and museology and conservation (Museum & Archeology Study). His interest in social work led him to work in community service, rural livelihood, youth engagement, event management, culture, tradition, and languages. Liaisoning, making contacts in the country, and travelling are all examples of duties. He has been serving as a social worker for the past 6.5 years.

She has explored various field related to development and social science, including CSR, media, research & advocacy and gender. Her passion in communication and academics lead her to pursue research as Research Scholar from BITS Pilani. She has professional experience of working with various grassroot organizations such as, Vikalpa Foundation and Y4D Foundation, managing the communication department and looking after the social media, media and knowledge management aspect for the organization.

Sunil Shukla hails from a hamlet in Sultanpur district, Uttar Pradesh. He has been associated with nonprofit organizations for the past 14 years. He dedicated 8 years to fundraising for the environmental advocacy group Greenpeace before joining Sewa. Before his tenure at Greenpeace, he worked for an NGO based in South Delhi, supporting slum dwellers in the areas of education, vocational training, and women's empowerment. Currently, he holds the position of Coordinator-Marketing & Outreach at Sewa International.
