The Situation Cyclone Montha struck the eastern coast of India on Tuesday night, making landfall between Machilipatnam and Kalingapatnam near Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh. With winds reaching over 100 km per hour and heavy rainfall, the cyclone left a trail of destruction across coastal towns and villages. For hours, strong winds uprooted trees, tore down power lines, and damaged homes.
