Within 3 days’ time, printed pathology reports were provided over to the beneficiaries Medical consultation was given on the basic findings of the report. | Micro Enterprise: One of the major impacts of Covid and lockdown was people losing their livelihood. We intend to empower these individuals to develop them as entrepreneurs. As a part of this program, setting up various micro-enterprises to provide alternate livelihood with a focus on agriculture/farming to individuals who can further motivate others to do the same was the main objective. Telephonic conversations were planned with local voluntary organizations/self-help groups to explain the program and evaluate their willingness to participate. Based on initial discussions specific locations were identified. Our coordinators physically visited these locations with local coordinators and meetings were held with village groups/ families. Simultaneously, another team was working on procuring a portable rice mill, dal mill, hatchery unit, tamarind processing units and cashew processing units. Our team made a visit to the respective supplier plant physically/virtually to understand the technicalities of these machines and orders were placed with selected suppliers and followed up for timely delivery of a total of 12 machine units. Some of them were installed and beneficiaries started utilizing them. Some were in the process of installation and got delayed due to lockdown restrictions. Face to face or virtual machine tours including training, operation and maintenance was provided to all beneficiaries. |
